Delivery Assistant, Furniture Delivery

Job overview

The Delivery Assistant role is onsite in Atlanta, GA. Pay is $18 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; flexibility or overtime may be required as needed. CORT provides furniture rental and related transition services. The assistant supports the delivery driver with loading, unloading, furniture setup, navigation, and customer interactions. The role contributes to safe, efficient deliveries and pickups and a positive customer experience.

What you'll do

• Inspect furniture before loading
• load and unload materials
• secure truck loads
• assist with furniture delivery, pickup, moving, setup, cleaning, touch-up, and breakdown
• spot for truck backing and assist with navigation and parking
• contact and interact with customers
• assist with delivery paperwork and electronic driver logs
• communicate with dispatch and warehouse
• perform warehouse duties as needed.
