What you'll do
- Use a Math curriculum to teach content including Algebra, Geometry, or Calculus
- Support students as they solve problems and think critically
- Use love of mathematics to foster confidence and meaningful engagement
- Cultivate ability to construct and justify viable arguments
- Use passion for mathematics to build a community of self-guided learners
- Work with the Math department to determine academic and engagement goals
- Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze and respond to trends in student work and assessments
- Learn and implement strategies to differentiate instruction
- Build positive relationships with students
- Partner with students’ families
- Engage in practice-based professional development, mentorship, and coaching
- Participate in weekly, school-wide meetings
- Partner with grade level team to develop academic goals and practice instructional strategies.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience
- 1-2 years experience preferred.
