The Chief Engineer, Enterprise IT and Communications role is onsite in the Washington, DC metro area, with travel to program locations. Compensation is $190,000–$205,000 per year. The role establishes the engineering vision and integrated technical baseline across systems, networks, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, applications, data, and operations. It guides technical decisions and governance so the program can meet mission, security, resilience, cost, schedule, and lifecycle objectives.

• Set engineering vision, strategy, architecture, standards, and modernization roadmap
• advise program and government leaders
• own the integrated technical baseline
• lead architecture and readiness reviews
• manage technical risks and trade studies
• maintain requirements traceability
• resolve cross-domain conflicts
• establish an integrated automation strategy.
