Maintenance Mechanic — Food Processing

Job overview

The Maintenance Mechanic role is in person in Angola, NY, with pay of $32–$34 per hour. The mechanic supports the maintenance manager and team at a food-industry production operation. The role exists to keep production machinery and utility systems operating through repairs, installation assistance, and preventive and predictive maintenance. This work supports continuous production while following company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

What you'll do

• Repair and perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production systems and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. Assist with machine installation and maintain utility systems. Start up and shut down equipment according to safety procedures
• troubleshoot, dismantle, adjust, repair, or replace defective parts. Use shop equipment and follow OSHA requirements.
