The Boiler Helper role is onsite in Chapman, AL. Compensation is $19.23 per hour. The position supports Boise Cascade’s power plant operations. The role helps keep boilers and auxiliary equipment operating by cleaning boiler components, testing water samples, performing basic equipment upkeep, and operating a front-end loader and forklift. Following company procedures and safety rules supports reliable and safe plant operations.

What you'll do

• Clear boiler grates, tubes, firewalls, under-grate areas, and scrubber of ash and deposits
• use test reagents on boiler water, feed water, and condensate samples
• maintain housekeeping throughout the power plant and auxiliary stations
• grease fittings and chains and maintain oil levels in gearboxes and reservoirs
• operate a front-end loader and forklift
• demonstrate ability to operate boilers and related equipment
• follow company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
