What you'll do

• Assist with children’s care and education
• support developmentally appropriate lesson plans and individualized activities
• observe children and maintain records
• participate in home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and team meetings
• support Individual Education Plans for children with special needs
• maintain classroom supervision and child-to-staff ratios
• provide classroom coverage when the teacher is absent
• communicate with families and staff
• maintain confidentiality and report suspected abuse or neglect as required by law.
