What you'll do

• Follow center policies and procedures
• assess and monitor patients
• verify procedures and explain care plans
• provide comfort and protect privacy
• collaborate with the healthcare team
• supervise and direct pre-, intra-, and post-operative care
• administer and document medications as ordered
• maintain aseptic technique
• start peripheral IVs
• participate in time-outs and the Safe Surgical checklist
• monitor anesthesia recovery
• prepare patients for discharge and explain instructions
• maintain supplies and equipment
• document patient care.
