The Senior Tier 3 CrowdStrike Architect role is remote, with a listed worksite address in Des Moines, IA. Compensation is $70 per hour. The role supports the State of Iowa’s Enterprise Endpoint Detection and Response platform within its Information Security Services Bureau. As the platform’s primary technical authority, the architect maintains the statewide CrowdStrike Falcon environment and serves as the highest technical escalation point for endpoint incidents. The work strengthens threat response, platform integrations, automation, and security support across state agencies.

What you'll do

• Architect and maintain the multi-tenant CrowdStrike Falcon platform
• oversee sensor deployment, policy tuning, custom rules, platform health, and agent troubleshooting
• handle Tier 3 endpoint threat escalations
• perform containment, remediation, and live forensics
• integrate telemetry with SIEM/SOAR, network defenses, and threat intelligence
• develop dashboards, procedures, and deployment guides
• mentor Tier 1/2 SOC staff.
