The Mid/Senior System Administrator role is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. The listed salary range is $114,000–$160,000 per year for the mid-level role and $160,000–$240,000 per year for the senior-level role. The position supports Belay Technologies’ intelligence team and complex network environments. The administrator installs applications, administers systems and processes, and resolves issues to sustain reliable operations. The role supports system engineering requests and maintains distributed, air-gapped systems, including security management, configuration optimization, and network-centric administration.

What you'll do

• Install applications
• administer systems and processes
• identify and resolve issues
• optimize server and desktop configurations
• perform security management and application performance optimization. Additional responsibilities may include sustaining web-based information systems
• maintaining server enclaves, scanning reports, patches, certificate renewals, vulnerability assessments, and Active Directory configurations
• troubleshooting hardware and software
• documenting server/network environments
• and communicating about outages and upgrades.
