The Carpenter - First Shift role is onsite in Saint Charles, IL. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, with a first-shift schedule of 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; the end time may vary and longer hours may be needed. Work Now Staffing is hiring carpenters for a local client. The carpenter builds, installs, inspects, and repairs wood and other building-material structures, coordinating with supervisors and other trades to complete work safely and to project requirements.

What you'll do

• Read blueprints and specifications
• measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install building materials
• construct and repair frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
• install fixtures and trim
• inspect structures
• operate and maintain tools safely
• follow building codes and safety standards
• coordinate with other trades
• keep work areas clean and safe.
