Sonographer – Vascular Ultrasound

The Sonographer – Vascular Ultrasound role is onsite in Denver, CO, reporting to the office four days per week for 32–36 hours weekly; exact hours and day shift are negotiable. Compensation is $42–$55 per hour. The Vascular Institute of the Rockies provides vascular care. The sonographer performs peripheral and abdominal vascular ultrasound examinations and supports patient care through imaging, patient education, and communication of preliminary findings. Accurate measurements and records help physicians interpret studies and maintain clinical operations.

What you'll do

• Perform quality peripheral and abdominal vascular ultrasound examinations
• support patient care by performing echocardiogram procedures and explaining the process
• operate ultrasound equipment
• acquire measurements according to protocol
• create digital preliminary reports and communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician
• verify clinical report, demographic, and billing data
• maintain equipment and records
• and document procedures performed.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and current ARDMS or CCI credentials, or registry eligibility with passage within one year of hire. BLS or ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Vascular ultrasound experience is preferred.
