The role contributes to restaurant performance through oversight of the wine program, bar operations, inventory, staffing, and guest interactions.

What you'll do

• Assist the general manager and chef with restaurant operations, including the wine program and list, bar menus and training, inventory, purchasing, cleanliness, staff performance and training, staff scheduling, menu development, restaurant organization, guest interaction, and purveyor relations
• manage front-of-house labor, food cost, pour cost, and other operating expenses
• ensure the team follows standard operating procedures and human resources policies
• conduct pre-shift meetings
• assist with front-of-house recruitment.
