What you'll do

• Move trailers bay to bay
• inspect vehicles and equipment
• maintain work-hour and vehicle service logs
• read bills of lading
• report defects, accidents, violations, or damage
• couple and uncouple trailers
• maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
• transport and deliver products
• check trailers after unloading
• communicate using vehicle and dispatch equipment
• assist with loading and unloading and direct laborers packing goods.
