The Mold Setter role is onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. Compensation is not specified. The position supports scheduled production and emergency mold changes in plastic injection molding. The role prepares and changes molds and related equipment so presses can operate according to production needs. It also supports mold repair, safe equipment handling, orderly storage, and required production documentation.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled and emergency mold/die changes on 500–3300-ton presses
• set up molds and related water, knockout, hot runner, hydraulic, and pneumatic functions
• set press parameters to process verification sheets when applicable
• repair mold-related fluid or air leaks
• pull and reset mold halves for repair
• load and unload mold-carrying trucks
• install and remove auxiliary equipment
• maintain orderly mold storage and supplies
• complete paperwork
• follow company and OSHA safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
