What you'll do

• Deliver age- and developmentally appropriate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• perform nursing techniques to support patient comfort and well-being
• participate in performance improvement
• prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations
• help plan, supervise, and instruct secretaries and Nursing Assistants
• use critical thinking to make nursing decisions and modify care plans based on patient outcomes
• and respond to changes in patient condition. Required qualifications include two years of nursing experience, particularly in Telemetry, one year in a Step Down unit, Florida RN licensure, American Red Cross Advanced and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications, and basic arrhythmia skills before starting or critical care experience.
