Mid-Level Environmental Engineer

The Mid-Level Environmental Engineer role is hybrid, based out of the Buffalo, NY office. Salary is $72,000–$77,000 per year. Groundwater & Environmental Services provides environmental consulting, engineering, compliance, and technical field services to clients in diverse markets. The engineer supports remediation projects through engineering calculations, data evaluation, planning, permitting, field coordination, and reporting. The work contributes to environmental remediation and compliance while supporting the Northeast Region engineering team across New York and New England.

What you'll do

• Perform groundwater and vapor treatment system calculations
• tabulate and evaluate remediation system and laboratory data and prepare reports
• specify and procure materials and equipment
• develop subcontractor scopes
• assist with estimates and proposals
• prepare remedial action plans, pilot test workplans, permit applications, and compliance reports
• coordinate vendors, laboratories, and field tasks
• perform remediation system operation and maintenance, sampling, pilot testing, injections, excavation, and contractor oversight
• complete health and safety field observations and documentation
• travel within the Northeast region as necessary.
