Project Accountant

Job overview

The Project Accountant role is onsite in Seattle, WA, with compensation of $35–$42 per hour. KPFF Consulting Engineers' Seattle office supports transportation and structural engineering projects, including infrastructure that connects communities. The accountant provides project and operations support to the Civil/Structural and Transportation groups, coordinating billing, contracts, budgets, records, and deliverables. This work helps project teams manage financial and administrative requirements through project delivery.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review project invoices and progress reports
• process contracts and amendments
• manage fee estimates, cost tracking, and billing spreadsheets
• review subconsultant invoices
• compile fee documents, scopes, agreements, and schedules
• maintain project records
• coordinate meetings and construction support
• route submittals and RFIs
• coordinate deliverables and QA/QC
• support project managers, principals, and accounting staff.
