Job overview
The Fall Western Pennsylvania Events Intern is a remote, 10-week program for applicants who live in Western Pennsylvania; event or meeting attendance may require transportation. Compensation is not specified. The intern supports Autism Speaks’ development team and reports to the Director, Community Engagement. The intern assists with planning and executing area events, including walks, 5K runs, third-party events, and other activities. The work supports event logistics, community outreach, donor and volunteer engagement, and marketing communications while providing supervised event-planning experience.
What you'll do
- Assist with event logistics across Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania
- support kickoff event planning and outreach
- assist with donor, sponsor, and volunteer outreach and stewardship
- draft area marketing and communications content, including email and social media
- support silent auction donations and in-kind partnerships
- provide administrative support.
