Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant is an onsite role in Pleasant Grove, UT, with a salary range of $90,000–$110,000 per year. The role reports to the Corporate Controller and supports Horrocks’ corporate accounting function. The accountant manages close and reporting activities, banking and cash-flow reporting, audits, and employee expense processes. The role strengthens financial accuracy and internal controls while improving accounting processes and providing coverage for the Corporate Controller’s monthly close responsibilities when needed.

What you'll do

• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
• prepare documentation and respond to audit requests
• manage banking activities, cash monitoring, weekly cash-flow reports, and bank reconciliations
• perform accounting research and financial analysis
• implement process improvements
• oversee employee expense reports and train reviewers
• maintain procedures and records
• provide coverage for the Corporate Controller’s monthly close responsibilities when unavailable.
