Maintenance Assistant

Job overview

The Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in South Boston, VA, and pays $18.00–$22.00 per hour. The position supports a skilled nursing facility dedicated to patient care. The role assists the Maintenance Director in keeping the facility’s life-safety systems, physical plant, equipment, grounds, and utilities in good working order and compliant with community policies and applicable regulations. It also follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and established maintenance procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist the Maintenance Director in maintaining the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds, and utilities
• follow community policies, state and federal regulations, health and sanitation policies, infection-control policies, and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.
