Job overview
The Infant Lead Teacher role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $17–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The role supports The Learning Experience’s Infant classroom and its early learning program. The teacher leads daily classroom routines and learning experiences, providing individualized infant care and introducing sensory exploration, music, movement, language, and play. The role also supports developmental documentation, family communication, classroom safety, and collaboration with Assistant Teachers.
What you'll do
- Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
- provide individualized responsive care
- support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines
- implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- introduce sensory exploration, music, movement, language, and play
- observe and document milestones
- collaborate with Assistant Teachers and families
- maintain a safe, clean classroom and follow Michigan requirements.
