Principal Software Engineer, Developer Experience

The Principal Software Engineer, Developer Experience role is onsite in New City, NY; compensation is $227,000–$303,000 per year. CoreWeave provides cloud infrastructure and technology for AI workloads; this role supports the Developer Experience team. The engineer sets technical direction and builds developer-facing systems that help CoreWeave engineers build, test, and deliver software more quickly, safely, and reliably across the organization.

What you'll do

• Define strategy for build, test, delivery, developer tooling, and agentic engineering capabilities
• improve CI/CD throughput, build and test times, deployment safety, rollback speed, and release orchestration
• architect services, APIs, SDKs, and software abstractions
• lead cross-team initiatives
• establish engineering standards
• partner with infrastructure, security, SRE, and product teams
• mentor senior engineers
• design governed AI-assisted developer interfaces and internal platform golden paths.
