Medical Receptionist

Job overview

The Medical Receptionist role is onsite in Rockledge, FL, with pay of $18–$19 per hour. The position supports Pediatrics in Brevard’s pediatric team and helps create a welcoming experience for patients and families.

What you'll do

• Welcome, register, check in, and check out patients
• verify demographic and insurance information
• schedule and confirm appointments
• answer calls and route messages
• maintain patient records and documentation
• verify insurance benefits, collect copayments, and assist with basic billing inquiries
• coordinate with clinical staff to support patient flow
• maintain the reception area
• and protect patient privacy under HIPAA. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend shift, and occasional travel to other practice locations is required.
