The position supports DevTech Systems’ ADVISE 2.0 contract with the U.S. Department of State, working with the Foreign Assistance Oversight Bureau’s Data and AI team. The role builds and maintains data pipelines and analytical capabilities for foreign assistance data, helping the Department process information and respond to reporting and analysis requests. It contributes to reliable, transparent data operations and decision support through data engineering, analysis, automation, and appropriate predictive or machine-learning workflows.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• build and optimize data models, schemas, and cloud architectures
• implement data quality, validation, and monitoring
• use automation and AI tools to improve efficiency
• analyze foreign assistance data on request
• support predictive analytics or light machine-learning workflows where appropriate
• maintain documentation, metadata, and governance standards
• communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
