What you'll do

• Assess residents’ dietary needs and preferences with healthcare staff and develop individualized meal plans
• create nutritionally balanced menus that meet dietary requirements, preferences, and regulations
• supervise, train, guide, and evaluate dietary staff
• ensure food safety and sanitation practices
• assist with budget management and food-cost control
• interact with residents and use feedback to improve dining satisfaction
• collaborate with nursing and therapy staff
• maintain menu, assessment, and regulatory records.
