The Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice, NOC Shift role is onsite in Carlsbad, California, and is full-time, with a schedule of 12:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m. Pay is $45–$55 per hour, with a $2.00 night-shift differential. Hospice of the North Coast provides compassionate, personalized care to patients and families during end-of-life transitions. The nurse follows hospice care plans and provides skilled palliative care to patients with terminal illness. The role coordinates services with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team, supervises assigned Home Health Aides, and supports patients and caregivers through assessment, treatment, education, pain management, and symptom control.

What you'll do

• Follow and review hospice care plans
• provide skilled and palliative care
• perform prescribed treatments, pain management, and symptom control
• assess and evaluate patients
• report changes to the RN case manager
• educate and support patients and caregivers
• coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• supervise assigned Home Health Aides.
