Job overview

What you'll do
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, feeding, restorative nursing procedures, and retraining. Keep residents’ living areas clean
- answer call lights
- assist with admissions, readmissions, and room transfers
- report changes in resident condition
- turn bedridden residents every two hours or sooner as indicated
- provide incontinence care
- assist treatment nurses as assigned
- take and document vital signs, weights, and other resident records in the electronic medical record
- follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality procedures. A current Illinois CNA certificate is required.
