What you'll do

• Study blueprints, sketches, and structural plans
• select materials
• prepare layouts and mark cutting and assembly lines
• shape and assemble materials
• erect frameworks and lay subflooring
• build stairs and install partitions, cabinets, doors, frames, trim, and hardware. Construct forms and chutes for concrete, erect temporary platforms and ladders, fabricate and install formwork, place and finish concrete, align form panels, and set grout forms. Perform additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
