The Hospice Registered Nurse — Weekend, King & South Snohomish County role is an onsite, field-based position serving King County and South Snohomish County, Washington; the listing location is Tacoma, WA. Compensation is $52–$60 per hour. Envision Hospice provides comfort, dignity, and support to patients and families across Washington. The nurse provides weekend hospice care across private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. The role focuses on urgent needs, symptom management, patient comfort, family support, and coordination with the interdisciplinary and on-call teams. Training availability is required Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., for at least two full weeks.

What you'll do

• Provide hospice care focused on pain and symptom management
• respond to urgent calls, assess situations, and deliver interventions
• administer and adjust medications and monitor effectiveness
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• support and educate families
• document care, assessments, and interventions
• manage emergencies and coordinate with the on-call team when needed
• participate in quality improvement and follow hospice protocols.
