Process Operator I – Snack Food Production

The Process Operator I – Snack Food Production role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, with pay starting at $17.50 per hour. CK Snack Foods produces snack foods using kitchen production equipment. The operator follows recipes and standard procedures to support safe, consistent production. The work includes operating and monitoring equipment, preparing ingredients, completing changeovers and sanitation, recording production information, and following food-safety and allergen-control requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate popper, extruder, and fryer equipment
• review production schedules
• retrieve and mix ingredients according to recipes and specifications
• inspect food quality and monitor equipment settings
• perform kitchen changeovers
• assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot equipment
• clean and sanitize equipment
• report performance changes or malfunctions
• complete production logs
• operate a forklift
• follow GMP, SOP, food-safety, allergen-control, and applicable HACCP procedures.
