Billing Specialist

What you'll do

• Submit electronic and paper claims according to payer, state, and federal requirements
• review billing reports and resolve discrepancies
• follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims and coordinate resubmissions
• verify client eligibility, benefits, and authorizations
• apply ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding knowledge
• manage accounts receivable
• assist clients with billing and insurance inquiries
• maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• follow agency billing policies and participate in training.
