Assistant Director — Childcare Center

The Assistant Director works onsite in Spartanburg, SC, earning $16–$21 per hour. The role supports the center’s daily operations and a safe, high-quality learning environment for children.

What you'll do

• Assist the Center Director with daily operations and program management
• support and supervise staff
• manage schedules and ratio compliance
• maintain a clean and safe facility
• manage food-program documentation, meals, kitchen cleanliness, and inventory
• support recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
• prepare for inspections
• step into classrooms as needed
• help train staff and observe classrooms
• and support family communication, tours, enrollment, and community outreach. Completion of ECD 101 and the ability to meet state childcare licensing requirements are required.
