Field Service Technician — Electrical Power Equipment

The Field Service Technician — Electrical Power Equipment role is onsite in Lakeland, FL, and pays $30–$60 per hour. Simple Staffing is hiring on behalf of Group CBS, which provides field service for electrical power equipment at customer facilities. The technician assists with testing, preventive maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs of power transmission, distribution, and generation equipment. Safe, accurate field work and timely documentation help customers maintain reliable electrical infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Assist with electrical and mechanical service at customer sites
• read manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• troubleshoot, clean, repair, and replace substation components
• assist with installation and commissioning
• support transformer, cable, and circuit-breaker testing
• participate in safety meetings and training
• maintain tools, test equipment, and vehicles
• complete time, expense, status, and service documentation.
