What you'll do

• Assess patients and perform diagnostic procedures
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and dress wounds
• assist with examinations and surgery
• monitor and care for patients
• maintain medical records, equipment, and inventory
• communicate patient status to pet owners as directed
• prepare and sanitize treatment areas and instruments.
