Cybersecurity Analyst – Master (TS/SCI)

The Cybersecurity Analyst – Master (TS/SCI) role is onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. Pay is $105,000–$150,000 per year. JCS Solutions provides technology and professional services supporting defense, national security, and civilian-sector missions; this role supports a mission-critical Department of Defense program. The senior analyst leads defensive cyber operations and security operations center activities, detecting threats, analyzing incidents, and coordinating response across enterprise environments. Technical leadership, continuous monitoring, and clear briefings help maintain cyber defense readiness and compliance with DoD requirements.

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyze security events
• lead incident response and cyber defense activities
• coordinate and prioritize SOC response actions
• mentor junior and mid-level analysts
• conduct threat analysis and triage
• recommend security tool configuration and countermeasures
• review team reports and analyses
• correlate intelligence, alerts, logs, and forensic artifacts
• brief senior government and contractor leadership
• support continuous monitoring and DoD policy compliance.
