The Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Flight Instructor role is onsite in Huachuca City, AZ, supporting the U.S. Army’s sUAS and TUAS programs of instruction for the 2-13th Aviation Regiment at Fort Huachuca. AOC Global Services provides flight and simulation instruction for the Army training programs.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, maintain, and deliver flight and simulation training programs
• establish and review course content
• maintain training, participant progress, and flight records
• update course documentation
• stay current with training technologies, equipment, and software
• and participate in limited or rotational special projects. May provide leadership and evaluation for other instructors or operate and instruct on customer UAS platforms as needed. Must be able to work all shifts and/or modified split shifts.

Why this role

Requires Army UAS Groups 3–5 graduate status, at least four years of operational flying experience in Groups 1–5 UAS, 200 hours of live flight or simulation, 20 hours as Aircraft Commander or qualifying IO hours with AC designation, a current active U.S. Secret Clearance, and ability to obtain and maintain a flight physical. U.S. citizenship required.
