What you'll do

• Supervise ophthalmic technicians and share first-line supervision of front desk staff
• develop clinical and front desk schedules
• direct daily technical workflows
• create cross-training for ophthalmic technicians
• perform clinical tasks including histories, vision testing, scribing, OCTs, procedure preparation, and photography
• recruit and train technicians
• maintain equipment and ensure procedures and safety protocols are followed
• assess staff performance and provide disciplinary action as needed
• travel to other offices as needed.
