What you'll do

• Review patient documentation and conduct utilization management using InterQual guidelines
• perform inpatient reviews by phone and through electronic records
• assess physical and psychosocial needs
• verify benefits and eligibility with insurers
• participate in multidisciplinary care planning
• assist with discharge planning and authorizations for post-acute services and equipment
• follow up with discharged patients and providers
• maintain case records, reports, and confidentiality.
