The Local Class A Commercial Driver’s License Truck Driver role is onsite in Frederick, MD. Starting pay is $25 per hour. The driver makes multiple daily runs transporting construction materials to job sites for GardenCore, a U.S. manufacturer of lawn and garden products. The role supports timely, safe delivery by operating flatbed and live-floor tractor trailers, securing and unloading loads, and coordinating with dispatch and customers. Accurate records, vehicle inspections, and equipment maintenance help meet regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate flatbed and live-floor tractor trailers on multiple daily runs
• transport construction materials safely and on time
• assist with loading and verify order and weight distribution
• follow dispatcher instructions
• maintain DOT logs, fuel receipts, delivery documents, and other required records
• build customer relationships
• perform pre-trip inspections and report concerns
• obtain shipping bills and signatures
• maintain the truck and loading/unloading equipment
• survey job sites and unload safely
• monitor and report product-quality, customer-satisfaction, and traffic issues.
