Therapist — Bachelor Level, Women’s Halfway House

The Bachelor Level Therapist role is onsite in Brighton, MI, on the day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $19.25–$21.25 per hour. The role supports the Women’s Halfway House at Brighton Center for Recovery, where behavioral health teams provide recovery-focused care. Working under a fully licensed master-level therapist, the therapist gathers patient information, contributes to treatment and aftercare planning, and facilitates group and educational sessions. The work helps patients receive individualized support during recovery from chemical dependency.

What you'll do

• Develop treatment plans using ASAM Patient Placement Criteria and DSM-IV-TR and discuss care recommendations in team conferences
• identify co-existing conditions and coordinate services or referrals
• individualize therapy and complete biopsychosocial histories
• facilitate group and didactic sessions and educational lectures on chemical dependency and recovery
• prepare reports and maintain documentation
• collaborate with team members and external resources.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology and three months of human-services experience. CADC certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of eligibility; CPI certification is required within 120 days of employment.
