Direct Care Worker — Cottonwood Home

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• monitor health and behavior and report concerns
• administer prescribed oral medications and provide basic health support according to care plans
• offer companionship and support recreational, educational, and social activities
• help residents practice life skills
• prepare meals according to dietary needs
• assist with laundry, cleaning, and organization
• accompany residents to appointments and community activities
• document care and daily activities
• collaborate with families and healthcare professionals
• follow safety protocols, care plans, and licensing requirements.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. Relevant training or certification such as CNA, HHA, or DSP is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtainable. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
