The IBM i / RPG Developer — Manufacturing Systems — Hybrid role is hybrid, with three days onsite and two days remote each week in Schiller Park, IL. Compensation is $120,000–$140,000 annually. The role develops, maintains, and modernizes applications that support production scheduling, inventory, shipping and receiving, and shop-floor management, helping keep manufacturing operations and related systems reliable and current.

What you'll do

• Develop and support applications using RPG IV, Free-Form RPG, and Control Language
• use Visual Studio Code and Code for IBM i
• maintain automated builds with IBM Bob/TOBi
• support and customize the manufacturing ERP
• build shop-floor, warehouse, barcode, and shipping integrations
• optimize DB2 queries and database objects
• modernize legacy RPG and CL programs
• collaborate with management, plant teams, supply chain, and business analysts.
