School Bus Driver

Job overview

The School Bus Driver role is onsite in Framingham, MA, with pay of $30 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7–8 hours per day between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., typically split between 7–11 a.m. and 2–6 p.m. The role transports children to SMOC Child Care and Head Start centers and family child care homes. The driver provides safe, scheduled transportation for children and supports their safe boarding, travel, and release to authorized adults while following program and transportation requirements.

What you'll do

• Transport children according to established schedules
• follow SMOC policies, EEC regulations, Head Start standards, and the transportation plan
• conduct pre-trip, run-start, and end-of-run inspections
• follow safety and traffic rules
• report maintenance issues, delays, accidents, and other transportation concerns
• maintain bus cleanliness
• and complete required training and documentation. A valid Massachusetts CDL with an S endorsement and a School Bus Driver Certificate are required.
