What you'll do

• Investigate environmental public health complaints and potential violations
• inspect food establishments and solid waste facilities
• review and process permits
• conduct onsite wastewater site reviews, soil analyses, design reviews, and final inspections
• review land development proposals
• educate operators and the public
• assist with codes, ordinances, program planning, and policies
• respond to animal bites and vector exposures.
