Part-Time Cleaning Technician

Job overview

The Part-Time Cleaning Technician role is onsite in Cedar Falls, IA, with pay of $18–$23 per hour. ServiceMaster Restore handles water and fire restoration and cleaning work, including customer communication and documentation for insurance reimbursement. The technician completes assigned restoration and cleaning jobs, maintains quality, handles equipment and supplies, and explains work processes and next steps to customers. Accurate notes, photos, and other documentation support job resolution and insurance reimbursement.

What you'll do

• Load appropriate equipment and supplies and arrive at job sites
• explain active job processes and next steps to customers
• complete assigned work according to company processes and quality standards
• perform damage repair, pack-out, disposal of unsalvageable materials, deodorizing, and surface treatment
• clean post-construction areas
• handle equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products properly
• report equipment issues
• communicate customer issues and job activity to supervisors
• prepare documentation and photos for insurance reimbursement.
