The Superintendent — Mission Critical role is onsite at a project in Springfield, Illinois, and travel is required. Compensation is not specified. The superintendent leads field execution of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with emphasis on electrical infrastructure, commissioning, and energy safety. The role coordinates trade partners, commissioning teams, engineers, and client representatives to deliver a functional facility while managing schedule, safety, quality, and site logistics.

What you'll do

  • Oversee field operations from site development through commissioning
  • lead Lean Construction planning
  • supervise electrical installations and MEP commissioning
  • oversee lockout/tagout plans, energization, and NFPA 70E compliance
  • coordinate testing and commissioning
  • inspect installations for quality and specification compliance
  • track progress and deficiencies
  • coordinate with utilities, inspectors, and testing agents
  • manage safety, quality, logistics, risk, and client communication.
