The Preschool Lead Teacher role is onsite in Sequim, WA, with pay of $18.50–$20.00 per hour depending on education level. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Country Acres Early Learning and Child Care provides early learning and child care. The teacher helps children develop foundational academic, social, and emotional skills and prepares them for kindergarten and lifelong learning. The role uses developmentally appropriate, play-based and teacher-guided activities, while maintaining a safe, welcoming classroom and communicating with families about children’s progress.

What you'll do

• Develop and/or implement engaging lesson plans and play-based learning using Creative Curriculum
• create a safe, respectful, welcoming classroom
• support children’s development through play-based and teacher-guided activities
• observe and assess progress and communicate with families
• maintain daily routines and support social-emotional learning.
