Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer — Senior Living

The Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer role is onsite in Eden Prairie, MN, with compensation of $22–$24 per hour and a $3,000 retention bonus paid in installments at 6, 12, and 18 months. The role supports residents at Summit Place Senior Campus, a SilverCrest Community, through land and aquatic fitness programming. The fitness professional designs and leads group classes and individualized training to help older adults maintain strength, mobility, and independence. By adapting programs to residents’ abilities and health conditions and coordinating with care teams, the role supports resident wellness and progress.

What you'll do

• Lead land and water group fitness classes adapted to different abilities and health conditions
• provide one-on-one training, fitness assessments, and individualized plans
• design programs for residents with arthritis, joint replacements, Parkinson’s, heart conditions, and other special-population needs
• track progress and adjust programs
• coordinate with nursing, therapy, and life enrichment teams as appropriate.

Why this role

Experience with older adults or special populations is strongly preferred. CPR/AED certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days; some weekend coverage is included.
