The Protégé Sales Leader role is onsite in Aurora, IL, with an 8:00 am–5:00 pm Monday–Friday schedule described in the posting. Compensation is $50,000–$80,000 per year. The role is part of a six-month accelerated training program for prospective Farmers Insurance agency owners. The role develops insurance sales and agency-building skills through training, leads, daily coaching, and client work. It contributes to the agency’s sales goals while preparing qualifying participants for the opportunity to launch their own agency after the program.

What you'll do

• Meet new-business production goals
• develop insurance quotes, present sales proposals, and close sales
• build networking relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, and auto dealers
• maintain knowledge of products and services
• prospect through referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
