Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Properties

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite across two apartment communities in Northeast Ohio, with compensation of $21–$23 per hour. Great Lakes Realty supports two market-rate communities totaling 76 units and maintains resident-ready, inspection-ready properties. The technician handles work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and repairs across both sites. This work helps keep the communities safe, functional, and prepared for residents and inspections.

What you'll do

• Complete and document work orders in Rent Manager
• prepare vacant units through repairs, painting touch-ups, and general make-ready work
• perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, life-safety equipment, and building systems
• maintain buildings and grounds
• support inspections and correct assigned deficiencies
• participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
• maintain tools and shop organization
• perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repairs.
